Buffy fans who have been waiting for a Buffy The Vampire Slayer reboot, we have some good news. There has been talk of a Buffy reboot since August last year. Now, the official Instagram account of Sarah McGellar, the original Buffy has put up an interesting Instapost. It says this:
If the atmosphere wasn’t politically charged in America, this would be a poster for a Buffy reboot. What stops us from making that deduction? Today is also the day women took out a protest march against the election of the now American President, Donald Trump. There have been reports of many women doing their bit for the protest march. Some are travelling from the interiors to be part of the protest. So, it wouldn’t a surprise if Sarah decided to use her most memorable role to pitch.
Celebs are speaking out against the US President Donald Trump. We cannot be sure if she joined the brigade or choose the best moment to announce a reboot of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Protesters have vandalised shops and creating a commotion. Some of the most vocal critics of the President are Alec Baldwin, Meryl Streep and Robert De Niro.
Sarah played Buffy the Vampire Slayer for a whopping seven seasons until 2003. Fans have since then been clamoring for her return. Buffy’s character has been instrumental for woman finding the confidence in themselves to combat their own demons. Apart from this cryptic Insta post, Buffy has earlier teased a Buffy reboot during an interview. She has, however, said that the demons were a mirror of the kind that were ‘in’ during that time. She confirmed that no idea what the demons would be this time around, if a reboot was to be planned.
Well, whatever that is, a Buffy return in any avatar is welcome for the Buffy fans, right?
